Hello, I am planning to upgrade my Video card, I am currently using the MX440.
I am trying to get the Radeon 9800 Pro, because it is the best product for its price on the market. That's what everybody saying..
Anyway, the local store got this two brands that is pretty much the same price.
-Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9800 Pro--$329.95
-Ati Radeon 9800 Pro--$299.95
They are both in retail box.
I believe the Sapphire comes with some bundles as they said in their home site.
I am just wondering which one is better? Will the Sapphire cooling do better than ATI? They look like the same to me.
I live in Canada, and if you guys know a place where i can buy this card for better price, plz tells me. I wanted to get the R9800Pro 128MB ICEQ from HIS, but then "newegg" doesn't ship to Canada.
Do you guys know any other online places that sells the ICEQ?
Thx.

It depends. Sapphire is a good company and I've heard that some R9800 Pro's have the R360 Core(A.K.A R9800 XT) and they also have good cooling. If Sapphire has better ram than BBA then get it. For an example if BBA uses Hynix 2.8ns RAM and Saphire uses Samsung, go for the Sapphire.

Asus P4S800 MoBo

You can always purchase ATi products from their web sites. And no...the current price for ATi R9800 pro is US$249.99 ($349.99 in canada) and they should ship to your place since their HQ is in Canada lol...

if you're in the US:

if you're in Canada:
http://buy.ati.com/shopati/product.asp?category=AP&part%5Fno=100%2D435002+CDN&find%5Fcategory=AP&find%5Fdescription=Products&find%5Fpart%5Fdesc=&country=CAN

I got one while ago from Best buy and they had 50 bux mail-in-rebate so basically i got it for 200 bux :-)

good luck,

Thanks for the replys guys.=)
I live in Canada, so newegg won't send it to me.(They selling for $249USD)
I ran to a PC store today, and they said they will look it up for me. And the IceQ i found on the other store asking for $400CAD! Which seems like over pricing to me. I will just wait to see how much the other store come up with.

Thx
