Sometimes a little nudge from someone who is more experienced is very helpful. Why do some people feel the need to flame? i recommend a 256mb card like the ATI Radeon 9600. With a card like that you won't have to upgrade for a while, + it's well under your budget. But that depends if you won't pure grunt and power which most people do won't. very well performing card.
