Would a Radeon 9250 PCI (not Agp version) 256MB, or a GeForce4 Ti 4400 156MB (AGP) Titanium (I think).
Why, Why not?

The R9250 is a low end/budget card & was marketed that way when it 1st introduced in 2004. It was designed more for general purpose use than gaming. Since your's is a PCI card, it uses the shared PCI bus which runs at 33MHz.
The Ti4400 was considered a high performance gaming card when it was introduced in 2002. It uses the AGP bus which is a dedicated/unshared bus that runs at 66MHz.
Have a look at this old VGA chart...see where the Ti4400 ranks in comparison to the Radeon 9200. Keep in mind that the 9200 is better than the 9250, plus these are all AGP cards. The 9250 PCI is probably closer in performance to the 9600SE.

The bottomline is the Ti4400 AGP is a MUCH better card than the R9250 PCI.
