I want to play BF2 with full setings, so what would be the optimal PC for this.

BF2 is a few years old, so do I really need a high tech gaming machine for this?

So are these the minimum requirements? I am looking for Optimal requirements for use of FULL settings.

I don't want to overbuild a machine, why use a 2.8 Pentium four with 512mb ram to play skifree?

I wasnt able to run BF2 at full settings until I got an 8800 Ultra. Since then I could max everything out.

Other specs included a couple GB of Ram and I had a Pentium 4 processor at that time.

A good internet connection is essential too.

Common sense is not common.

"So are these the minimum requirements?"

Yes, those are the minimum.

"BF2 is a few years old, so do I really need a high tech gaming machine for this?"

So you never plan on playing any newer games? You're gonna stick solely with games that are 3-4 years old?
