What is over clocking? How do i Overclock?

Specs: Windows XP
Currently I'm having a intel Pentium 4 @2.4Ghz processor, 1Gb ddr1 ram, and a mercury PI845Z mobo..... I have bought a new Nvidia geforce FX5500 AGP 8X card of 256Mb memory with 128 bit ram....
How do I overclock this card for better gaming experience..........?
currently using a windows 7 os....

You could have avoided your current predicament by purchasing a real
card. Your Geforce FX 5500 is really old & quite crappy, you might as well
forget playing any modern game with that piece of crap.

You should have asked before buying the card.

As sabertooth said crappy and old video card. Inshort u can't overclock anything.

well bad news kid ur card sux and if u overclock it u wont gain any performance increase a very noticable one perhaps
and advice get a good agp card if u look to game then we ca talk overclocking
