Around $210 buys you a Nvidia Geforce 6600GT from Newegg.com (not hugely faster than a 9800pro), but a bit better. probably not worth paying out for.

$280 gets you a Nvidia Geforce 6800 128mb. Great card!, faster than the 9800pro, but again, the pro isn't huge ammounts worse.

$390 gets an Nvidia 6800GT 256mb or a Radeon X800pro 256mb, around twice as fast as a 9800pro, but out of budget.

Well it all depends on what mobo u have like do u have PCI express because the radeon 9800 pro is not pci its agp. I like agp much better but agp uses the odler technology the pci express is next generation BS!
