What is the meaning of GT,GTX,GTO,XTX,XT
some graphic cards have at the end of the number just like 7300GT,7800GTX,X1800GTO,1900XTX,1900XT
GT means what A GRAN TURISMO And GTX What does that means A VGA CARD runs processing Just Like FORD GTX Car Speed.GTO runs at PONTIAC GTO speed and XT RUNS AT SUBARU XT SPEED

It dosent actually mean anything. I beleive that when ATI first started using XT it stood for eXTreme, But you can understand which card is better by the letters after it..
For ATI - Lowest to Highest performance.
SE (Suck Edition)
LE (Light Edition 'See above')
- (Vanilla)
Pro
XT (eXTreme)
XT-PE (eXTreme - Performance Edition)
XTX (eXTremely eXtreme??)For nVidia - Lowest to Highest performance.
SE
LE
XT
GS
- (Vanilla)
GT
GTXI dont know where GTO fits in there though.. The XT with nVidia is pretty much exactly the same as the LE.. And I'm not 100% sure that the GS is lesser than a plain 'vanilla' card.
Hope that was helpfull.Mattwizz3 : )
Sempron 2600+ @ 2.2GHz
1Gb DDR400
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
200GB SATA / 80Gb IDE
256Mb MSI 6800 Ultra

gto is between GT and GTX...
Your order is correct but there SE is special Edition and LE is Limited Edition... I dont know all the names but the GT and XT and ones with other letters...lol are the ones you want...
TJ297 All Prices are in Auzzie Dollars =D
AMD 3800+
2 Gig RAM
Nvidia 7800GT
Thermaltake 430w PSU
Antec LAN-boy Case
Onboard Sound WOOOOT
Surprisingly not bad :p

GS is better than a plain one.
For example, a 6800GS beats a 6800.
"How many squirrels had to die to make you look fly?!"

Probably goes more like this
ATI
SE LE
GT
Plain
GTO
XL Pro (probably same)
XT
XT PE Or XTX (Goes for the top of the lind)Nvidia
SE LE XT
Plain
GS
GT
GTX

PE means "Platinum Edition"
and yeah, a lot of those suffixes are car arconyms lol. For instance, GT means Grand Tourismo/Touring, GTO is Pontiac's Goat of course.

Yup!
Vanilla does indeed come before a GS/GT/GTX & so on. This naming concept is primarily marketing oriented & even though it can be a little confusing if you are not familiar with the nomenclature, you'll be fine as a mainstream gamer if you always shoot for at least the "Pro" (ATI) or "GT" (Nvidia) cards when looking at what to get.

SE = Sucker Edition
LE = Loser Edition
XT = eXtremely Tame (nVidia)http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/
