Supreme commander is a good one, but the thing i dont like about is that every mission is too long. even in skimish, it takes at least 1 hour to beat a mission. generally, its a great game. you can call that Total Annihilation 2.
as for the latest, Starcraft 2 is coming soon. since, SC was one of the best strategy game ever. SC2 should be a good game as well.
