I've been having weird images on a couple of games lately, mohaa and Need for Speed most wanted. I upgraded my video drivers twice in the last 2 months with no effects at all. Everything is running for quality and application controlled. WHat should i do to get rid of those silly things. I got an MSI NX6800GT TD256 vid card. Thanks for any help!

Those things looks like more of a driver issue than artifacts imo. Maybe you should set the details to lowest with FSAA/AF off to see if those weird image still exist. If it only happen when you set to a specific details i.e FSAA on 4x then I will turn those off. If those image still exist, then I will check the temperature of your GPU during heavy gaming to see if it's overheating...

I downgraded everything to no avail, i'm even running desktop in 1024 on a 19" LCD screen(VX922). GPU vid card report 134 degrees F(57Celcius) after quitting desktop to play for 1 minute. Is this normal???

Sometimes odd-ball type issues in gaming can be traced back to a suspect PSU.

Can you supply the details of yours?

Also do you have fastwrite turned on?

And your motherboard's chipset drivers - are they up-to-date?

You might wind up being able to resolve this via a process of elimination.

Good luck!

Is that problem only happen in NFSMW or also happen in other games? If it only happen in NFSMW, then I will try to obtain the latest patch from their official website to see if that solves the problem...
