Warcraft 3 disc error...(legal)

First things first: I have a legit copy, and it was working fine until I decided to reinstall the game(since I wanted to organize my folders)
Now however, when I start the game, I get a darn "Please verify that your Warcraft 3 cd is in your cd-rom and click 'retry'
I tried Blizzards 12 fixes thing, and that didn't help...
anyone know how to fix this problem? also please no no-cd fixes

when playing, make sure your war3 cd is in the same drive that you used to install. that is, if u used cd drive E to install, leave cd in drive E. otherwise, try another fresh install.
