video driver/display settings

I just bought a Disney game for my daughter,the pc meets all the requirements but when i play it a message says that the video driver wouldn't allow the program to change my display settings to bit colour. I changed the resolution to 640/480 and the colour to 256 but still nothing. Any ideas?

Change your desktop to 16 or 32-bit color. Then try running the game. Could also look into updating your video card's drivers. "President Bush is doing everything he can to lower gas prices, including...making the oil companies so rich that maybe they'll get sick of money."
