Hi there. I recently went to the store to buy a new video card. I saw that there was an ATI radeon 9200 and a radeon 9600 SE. The 9600 SE is more expensive. However, i heard somewhere that the 9200 produces better performance. I do not wish to overclock these cards or anyhting, so which one is better? Also, i saw two Nvidia cards, one was AGP and one was PCI. Which is better?

i have radeon 9800pro 128mb. it cost about $50 more thatn 9600se. 9800pro has great performance for every game. i run call of duty on max settings and 1280*1024 res performance is great (didnt try fps). i run far cry at max settings and 1152*864 res at 50-80fps. see for yourself nvidia is s**t (i used to have 5900ultra) radeon 9200is pretty good, radeon 9600se sucks, 9700sereies and 9800series is great

AGP means "Accelerated Graphics Port". This port is optimized for graphics computing. PCI stands for "Periferal Component Interface(or Interconnect)". These ports are pretty universal and are not optimized for any one particular part of the computer. Get AGP because that's what it's there for.
