Hi,
I was thinking of buying a BFG 7800 GS OC AGP 256mb video card. Is this card any good for playing some of the newer games like Battlefield 2142?
Thanks
Crusher

Both are great cards. If you can afford it, do as zcubed says and get a X1950. If ytou can't, you won't be dissapointed with a 7800. It's a win win situation, lol.

With your P4 2.2ghz, buying anything more than 9600xt = waste of money. The x1950pro/7800gs will be severely bottleneck with your 2.2Ghz P4...

I agree with TMP-Man that the X1950PRO & 7800GS will be bottlenecked by your CPU, but I disagree about the 9600XT...I think you could do a little better than that. Maybe something like a plain vanilla 6600?
