I am trying to upgrade my video card and dont know if i need a specific type of card or if they are all compatible with notebooks?

On the majority of laptops/notebooks, the video is integrated into the motherboard & can NOT be upgraded.

If gaming if what you're after, it's time to invest in a new notebook:

I suggest that you go for desktop PC to play games. Playing games on a descent notebook was damn expensive.
