hi all,
i am thinking of upgrading my current video card with a ati 9700 pro. but i was wondering if its worth it? what's your opinion?
pc spec :
amd athlon 2500+ ( overclock @ 11 x 187 = 2057mhz)
1 x cosair 512mb ram
1 x kingston 256mb ram
gecube ati radeon 9600xt 256mb
1 x maxtor sata drive
1 x samsung cd-rom
1 x benq cd-rwhere is the link to the ati 9700 pro card i'm getting :
http://alastor.info/9700pro.htm and, i'm also looking into this card : http://alastor.info/9800se-u.htm
btw, i've done some research on the web that ati 9700 pro is 256bit memory bandwidth. but this card i'm getting seem like a 128bit version, is it a typo or is the 128bit version does exist?
all inputs are welcome. thanks.

If you're going to step up from a 9600XT, you should be pushing higher. That jump would be like upgrading your overclocked Athlon XP 2500 to a 3200 and not overclocking. It's not worth the money and time to do it.
