Anyone have any recommendations for a good, reasonibly priced video card for my system given the specs above. I only have PCI slots, so I know that limits my choices, and 250 watt PSU. Without upgrading anything else at this point, what would be a good card to upgrade from the integrated Intel graphics? I'm more then aware i should upgrade my Ram to 1 GB and plan on it, so humor me with just your thoughts on a video card, thanks in advance.

I don't have a specific suggestion but I will tell you this.
1. Be sure to get a 128 bit card.
2. Do not get one with more than 128MB video memory.
3. Try to get one that is DirectX9 compatible if they make PCI cards with that (not sure).

Also, what is your budget if you have one?
PCI cards probably won't require a huge power supply.

As I was writing this I searched up some results based on those suggestions. Here is a PCI GeForce Fx5500 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814133134, I'm not sure exactly how good it is but my FX5200 works great but mine is AGP though.

Build-in-Progress:
NZXT Nemesis Elite
Athlon 64 3200
Abit An8
OCZ EL PE Rev2 DDR400
X800PRO

Thanks for the info, looks like a good card, i was hoping to find something alittle cheaper that would be adequate, but that price is not too bad. What about this card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814145055?
Would that work on my system and does it seem worth it, I don't want to break the bank, but, I also don't want to bother upgrading if theres not going to be an improvement. Thanks again for your thoughts

The FX5500 is better than the FX5200, but I don't think it's worth the extra $25-30....it's not THAT much better. Go with the FX5200 128MB/128-bit card for $68

Athlon XP 1800+
8.5 x 200MHz
1024MB PC3200 2.5-3-3-7
Asus A9550GE/TD 128MB
WinME/WinXP Pro SP1
