RADEON X300 SE vs. RADEON 9600 SE 128MB

I know very little about video cards....soo whats the difference? Which is better? um can you recommend anything better that is less than $100? I have an ATI Radeon 9000 right now...the game I'm trying to play requires it to be compatible with DirectX9.0 and its saying its not so yea I'm lookin to get something that is.

The RADEON 9600 SE is a 64-bit low end piece of crap.

Isn't the RADEON X300 SE a PCI Express card? Regardless, it'a another 64-bit POC.

Keep looking....

Lol correct, it would be a downgrade from your 9000, the 9600pro on the other hand is a pretty decent card, and btw what game is telling you you need a dx9 card to play it?, ive never come across a game that requires a card to be dx9 only for dx9 to be installed, although im not a gamer so it could be true

well tbh for the latest games you really want to be looking at another stick of 256 and a card around the 9600pro range which should do for about another 1 or 2 years, if your budget can strecth they are releasing the 6600 agp versions soon which should blow away and 9800pro or 5900ultra and is cheaper
