hey you guys i have a problem with my video card its a GeForce 4 MX440 PCI bus and its making me really mad i put the card in the 1st time and it worked, i installed drivers and then i think my brother did, and all the sudden lines popped up and messed it up, i reformatted my computer and now it says This device cannot start (Code 10)by the way i didnt have the card in when i reformatted because the screeen would just be black when when i turned the comp on so i just took it out.
i have a pentium 3 601 mhz

that didnt help, it wont even let the driver work its not turned on

if i put only that card on it will not show the start up screen and i will not be able to see the computer... my motherboard came with a crap video card already in it, and i disabled that and enabled the geforce 4 and logs up fine but wont show the startup screen so i cant get in

What OS are you using?(Windows Me, Xp, 2000). Try entering safe mode by holding the F8 button while booting up. Make sure that your BIOS is configured properly. Have you tried removing the ram and putting it into another slot?

Your video card could be defective or fried. Try installing it into another CPU, and if you still get the same problems, its your video card thats causing it.

Your brother might have flash the card with a different version.

Yeah its not fried it works in my other comp, i tried the the safe mode thing alot.... i might need to flash it though, we already did it 1nce but we might need to do it in another version im using XP
