Might as well get a DX10 card, since you're building a new rig, and DX 10 is the "wave of the future." :)

The GeForce 8600GTS (or 8600GT, if you can't quite make the GTS) is a good, cheap DX10 card. The 8600GTS is about as fast as the 7900GS in DX9 games.

I'd look up the Newegg price for you, but (as usual), Newegg's only partially loading on my browser.

---

For the 8600GTS/GT, a GOOD power supply of 350w is enough (by good, I mean FSP, Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake, or PC Power and Cooling.)

"is the CPU that I chose overcklocable?"

Any CPU is overclockable. Even the 486DX2 could be overclocked. :)

But if you want some godly overclocking, I'd go for a cheap Core 2 Duo E4300/4400. Those beasts are known to easily reach speeds of 3.0GHz and higher. At that speed, it would simply spank ANY Athlon processor out there.

Pentium III--Descendant of Intel Core.
Pentium III-S 1400 @ 1.63GHz, 512K L2
X800XT AIW OC 580/600

250GB HD
SB Audigy 2
QDI Advance 12 mobo
Smugly running Vista

Sounds good. I like the factory overclock, and MSI's pretty reputable. What's the price?

Newegg doesn't ship internationally.

BTW, the 8600 series does NOT get greatest reviews. The only thing it really has going for it is that it supports DX10...there are plenty of Dx9 cards in the same price range that beat it. You'd probably be better off with something like the X1950Pro or 7900GS.

You could try www.ebuyer.com (both US & UK site) or www.scan.co.uk - to see if either will ship to europe.

I can recommend the graphics card and power supply listed on the tag at the bottom.
Can run C&C3 on full settings and i've not really done much fine tuning of the rig yet. Haven't tried any other graphic intense games (unless you want to count UT2004 lol!)

(although i think C&C3 framerate is locked?)

means that cannot exceed the certain number of max frame. Locked at 60fps for instance. But for me i don't bother about game that higher than 60fps unless for benchmarking. Usually i locked by games frame by VSync to my highest refrest rate.
