I wasint awnsered before so im sorry about the "somewhat" Double post. What is the life span of a Hightech iceq 9800 Pro not overclocked? What is the lifespan of it overclocked to XT stats?

It depends. If you overclock your video card, it will shorten its life span(maybe 2-3 years). Using the XT Bios may shorten its life span even more since it uses higher voltages(I think.).
But what matters most is the cooler. If you have a bad cooler on your 9800 Pro then it would easily die even if its not overclocked.

Oh I see..that Cooler is actually VGA Silencer..one of the best ones out there =)
The lifespan is random, but for sure a stock video card would last much longer than an overclocked video card. If you didn't overclock it, Im guessing it would live for about 10~ years, if overclocked, maybe 5-7? I have never had a dead video card before, but you shouldn't worry too much. By the time your video card dies you can get a better video card for about the same price..
