Hi...I just bought a nvidia geforce 4 mx440 video card...I was planning to install it today..but i realized I had and integrated video in my motherboard. The question is...do i have to disable my integrated motherboard first or after i put my new video card into the slot...or do i have to disable it at all...does it have a prompt when i boot my system up...and ask me which one i want to use? PLease tell me what i should do...thanks in advance to everyone

what i would do is: physically install the new video card (but don't disable/ unhook the vga from the onboard card) go to device manage, see if it has detected your new card (which it should) err, install the drivers for the new card disable your onboard card (effects should take place after reboot) turn off computer(reboot) switch the vga plug to the new card....i think thats a pretty good way to do it
