Comment: i was wondering if this video card is compatible with my computer or if i would need additional cooling or what not. Also any suggestions on a different video card which would be compatible could help. I play alot of games and need the card to be a tv tuner. Reply: (edit)Hi, If you can give us some info about your motherboard i.e Manufacturer/Type of graphics slot available (AGP or PCI-Express or even normal PCI;) ) then it would help people give you a more informed answer.... that said the X800XT is a very nice card if still a little pricy. I REGISTERED WITH COMPUTING.NET AN ALL I GOT WAS THIS LOWSY SIGNATURE!!P4 3.6 Prescott Asus PTGD1 Mobo 2x160GB Samsung SATA's 1GB Infineon DDR400 DVD+RW, DVD-ROM Tagan 420W PSU X

Reply: (edit)Even if that card will fit in your PC, it's major overkill for your CPU. I'd be looking at a 9800 Pro/XT if you're dead set on ATI, or an NVidia 6600GT. "If that [soiled bed] sheet is a [holy] manifestation, then I'm working on a miracle in my Jockey's!"
