Reply: (edit)I've never tried the 5700, but the 5900 is TOO fast, it bottlenecks unless you have BUSRAM, and lots of it. I have the 5600 with 256MB DDR, and it OWNS. its sweet, smooth, doesn't skip, quiet. I love it. fast frame rate and all

Reply: (edit)The company called Xtacy (a.k.a. vision tek) is a good company. I would look into them. I think PNY is a decent company too but I'm really not sure any more.

Reply: (edit)PNY is a good company and pretty popular too, but their warranty is sh*t. If you are planning to get a new vga card go for BFG, you get lifetime warranty.

Reply: (edit)Tobymag, after you flashed your vga card did the agp rate change at all? For some reason my 5900SE(Softmodded to Gainward 5950U) is locked at AGp 4x...everything else works fine.
