Comment: Hi guys, OK this is the wierdest thing that has ever happened to me i have a foxconn 6150k8ma motherboard with othboard graphics 256 (128 shared) when i upgraded the BIOS it now reports i have 512MB with 128 shared, and now explorer is always crashing I have the latest forceware drivers from nVidia and im really getting annoyed as i check all my bios settings and everything seems to be fine Any ideas? Reply: (edit)Sounds like you upgraded t he bios so it only reads half on each stick perhaps.. or you might have corupted the bios.. Look up the features ont he bios you are using on the website and see what the new features are.. And you could try resitting your ram.. perhaps clearing the bios as well may help remedy the situation.

Reply: (edit)"vbios upgrade" What's that? I'm guessing you mean the motherboard BIOS? After the flash, did you ClearCMOS, then run thru ALL the settings again? Do NOT use "defaults"...always tweak the BIOS settings to best suite your hardware.

Reply: (edit)nvm guys, i figured it out, the new nvidia drivers have turbocache or something that doubles the memory on some vid cards and i meant bios not vbios sorry jam thx a lot though Darin Luckie
