i have tried three times now to install vanguard. first it hit a redundancy error or something like that. so i turned off my antivirus. next it stalled out next it went into another redundancy error. help would be nice

is the install media a legit print of the game that you bought in a store, or some illegally downloaded ISO that your buddy burned to a disc for you? If it's a burned copy, we can't help you.
if the game is legit, you might try running "chkdsk -r" from a command line on your OS partition. This will repair bad sectors on your HDD, onto which your OS may be trying to install game files.

legit disc. though since it wont seemingly read the batch 3 file i was considering downloading that separately. i tried copying the disc to the hdd and t seems it cant read the 3rd bin or whatever file. 2 gigs in size roughly.

well i just got rid of the game.. waste of money and time
