using jar files

Specs: Windows XP, 1.80Ghz/1024MB
I'm having problems opening up my jar files,even with the programs you suggested. I need step by step instruction how to use jar files on my PC so I can play my games.Please help me?

Jar files are Java runtime files - kinda like .exe's. How you use them depends on what they are. Some you can run just by double clicking on them.

Why don't you tell us what .jar files you have, and what you expect them to do? Are these for a game?

Its a whole list of different games that are jar files from Gameloft games. Here's 2 files I cant seem to open,,at all! I have used everything from Winrar, Winzip,,java binary, IZarc file extension programs,etc.I think these games are attended for mobile phones but Ive heard that I can still play them on my pc if I can open them.Is that true? If so please tell me how in detail so Ill be able to understand the steps correctly. Thanks!!
