I have Alchohol 120% and I'd like to backup my game (I have the disc) into a permanent drive on my hard drive. I'd like to use a virtual drive created with Alcohol 120% and just be able to double click the drives Icon and have the full running game without the disc, but I don't know how. Help would be greatly appreciated. (I don't know how to create a virtual drive that isn't read as a disc drive).

Many games that do CD checks will also check to see if you are using any of the more common untilities to mount an image. And, if found, will not run the game. Your game in question might not, but other games you play might.
Personally I'm getting pretty tired of the CD checks.

Okay...
You firstly install Alcohol 120%.
After installing it, run the program.
Insert the disk you want to backup.
Click on the 'Image Making Wizard' found in the top right of the screen.
Click on next...choose a name for your backup if you want a different one from the one given.
Choose the file path by choosing the folder you want to backup the disk into.
Click next...And you're finish.
Now go to 'My Computer' and right click on the virtual clone drive (when alcohol 120% in installed it automatically creates a virtual clone drive. If you would like more than one...just post me back and ask me how).
So you've right clicked on it...go to 'Mount' and then to 'open'.
Now find the file you saved the backup into and select it.
The clone drive icon should change to the game icon.
Double click on this and your game should start...Happy gaming!!
