I am looking for a way to play PLAYSTATION 2 games in my Gateway laptop. Is their something special that I need to do? I have been wondering of there is a special piece of software that I need to do this? Better video power? I was watching a kid play these games in a store while my wife was getting her nails done.

you will need an emulator and a ps2 bios. idk if you will need to upgrade ur system.
pritty much do a google for ps2 emulator.
