You only need a USB to PS/2 adaptor. Sometimes called a cab. However, there is a reason the sidewinder is using USB over PS/2. Using Google, type "USB to PS/2 adaptor." Click any of the sponsered links on the right to find an adaptor for sale online, or visit any local computer hardware store.

I should have spelled out what I meant. By Ps2 I meant Playstation 2. Not ps/2 type plug used for kb/mouse.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.
There are PS2 to USB adaptors, but you already knew that. What you're looking for is the opposite, a USB to PS2 adaptor. Sorry, I don't know where you could find one. You could try pluging the male USB end of PS2 to USB adaptor and the male end of the Sidewinder into a small all female USB adaptor. Don't know if that would work though?
