XP SP2 will not recognise my Logitech Attack 3. I have tried different drivers from latest to oldest and no difference. It used to work fine but this is a new mobo/cpu setup. It sets up fine on my XP Pro that is not SP2. Is it possible the it wont work because it's compatible with USB 2.0? The setup goes through the installation ok but when it comes to the detection part it doesn't find it then bypasses that and the test/config and goes straight to the registration saying installation complete. Please help me, I need my joystick, doh!
all latest mobo comes with usb 2.0 as a standard. so no such thing as mobo not recognize usb2.0. i suspected that you forget to install the mobo driver and the usb2 driver before you install the joystick driver. please follow the instruction for your mobo/usb2 driver installation.
