Does anybody know what the name of the usb controller that you can assign the mouse to a joystick is? Playing Morrowin III with one hand on the xbox controller and one one the mouse is kinda awkward.

I can't get this software to work, what are your settings Bobby? I know theres a gamepad that emulates mouse movements I just can't remember what it's called.

I'm currently using the Saitek P2500 and it's pretty good. The only real pain is getting all my games profiled EXACTLY the way I want them. With it's SHIFT button, I even find myself assigning secondary functions to buttons (namely cheat codes as MACROS, like for GTA III and GTA:VC. Just hold down shift and press a button and bam, it enters the cheat for me to spawn a tank or reapply my armor).

It comes with the Saitek SST profiling software. You can assign keyboard presses, mouse movements, etc. with it. I've also used Joy To Key with no problems. Mouse emu isn't THAT hard with it (I've used it before, successfully, to play games like Tiger Woods and Outlaw Golf...games notorious for NEEDING a mouse).

If you're having trouble with Joy To Key, e-mail me and I'll see if I can help you.

The thing I really dig about Saitek's software though is the ability to launch it from the command line with the parameter to auto-load the right profile (though I had to e-mail tech support to find out what the command was). I use it on my HTPC in the living room that has scripting I wrote that checks the disc I inserted, recognizes what game disc it is, and launches the executable for the game provided I installed it already and added it to my script. Before launching, however, it also calls up the Saitek profiler AND sets the correct profile. So it makes my HTPC play PC games like it was a console.

If you need help with any of that, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help you.
