I recently purchased a Dual Shock Vibration USB/PC Joypad. However, when I plug it in Windows detects an "unknown device". On my friends' computers they are able to auto-detect it, so I know the controller is not busted. I have tried uninstalling all my usb ports (4) and then restarting to no avail. There is no USB Game Controller listed in the game controller tab of the control panel. I have checked the companies web page for drivers, but there are none there. I have checked BIOS and all USB devices are enabled, as well as all plug and play devices. I meet all of the system requirements, including DirectX. I have tried "update drivers" on the unknown device in device manager, to no avail. Do any of you have any advice?
