I know that you guys answer this question for many people and more thankful I could not be. Hopefully you can help me too. I am looking to upgrade my video card on my Dell 4600i. Currently I have a factory-installed Intel Extreme Graphics 2 card. I have been searching the internet and reading forums left and right to find out what would be the best choice for me but no luck. My main concern is making sure that my motherboard and power supply is sufficient for a new card because I don't know how to find out this information. Can someone tell me what video card would be compatible and best for my system. At this point pricing of cards in not a concern. I just wanted some general information, all would be fine. Thanks so much in advance.

Upgrading your graphics is a good idea(because integrated graphics suck, Intel or nVidia), but I don't know how well your system will accept an add-in card, I've heard of PCs having problems with switching from integrated to add-in. But I dunno, try it. I like the GeForce FX myself.
