Also i only have a 250 watt power suplly will i need to upgrade that? how much? is it easy?

Well, you can run it on a 250w PSU, but will not get the best possible perforamnce out of it. IF you go up too 450, 480, or 500w, that should be sufficient enough.

Dail, a FX5500 is just an 5200 clocked a lil bit higher. If u want to buy a 150$ card look for an nvidia FX5900xt from Newegg.com. i believe it runs at about 150-180$

Yes, stay away from ATI. Go with a GeForce FX 5900 256MB at least. But don't go to a store like that for something that expensive. Newegg.com is good, but search Pricewatch.com first. I got a, FX 5700 for $95 by browsing pricewatch.
