I recently upgrade my geforce 6200 to a geforce 7800. I play madden 07 in an online league and up until i upgraded my card it ran perectly, smooth with no lag. when i upgraded my card the game looked amazing offline so i was stoked. but when i went to play my first game online i had hardcore lag. I had done nothing to my internet so i assume it is my new card. i'm just looking for some advice to try and fix this problem.

It may cause by you turn up the details. You need to try lower down the details until you got no more lag. It runs properly offline because the computer no need to process the online packets (ie data). This is not just because of your 3D card anylonger. upgrading your RAM to more than 2Gb and internet connection speed also helps...i hope.

Hi. Did you completely remove the old drivers of your previous card?

Remove the current drivers and install the latest ones. Also, a long while ago I upgraded from a FX5500 to a 6800Ultra and I had the same prob. Everything ran worse, the problem got much better if I uninstalled my games then re-installed them. I dont really understand why but it did help.
