its been a long time since ive posted here - so long i cant remember what my login name was... i am upgrading due in part to having no other choice*: very limited budget, i have to build it around the GPU [XFX 9600GSO 768mb]. i need help ASAP selecting my mobo... i was looking at: MSI P43 Neo3-F for $84.99. thats about all i have to spend on the MB, +/- $10... it needs DDR2800 RAM [4x240], PCI-e 2.0, onboard lan, FSB 1066/1333, etc. i need a MB, 2x1Gb DDR2 800, and CPU. this is what i came up with [i have $275]: MSI P43 Neo3-F [$85] Mushkin 2x1Gb DDR2 800 [$40] Intel C2D 7300 @2.66mhz/1066FSB [$125] any advice, please? * so a couple weeks ago my XFX 7900GS AGP goes *poof!* np. i RMA the bugger and they say theyll replace it with XFX9600GSO 768mb PCI-e 2.0 [model# PVT960 SDFH].
