i have found the original version of half lifeo n ebay for 3$ and i bought it, i love this game!!!
anyways if i pause the game at the main menu it says "update" and that it can upgrade to the newest version. But can i have the new and the old or is the new just some enhancements or wtv???? i also got halflife 1.1 and countertrike so i could update to that but will the like totally change and everythinbg?? Thx in advance!!!

Im thinking of getting counterstrike Condition Zero but is it any good??? and i got an athlon 900/256MB DDR400 20GB ATA/100 (7200RPM) Win xp home
Also im running a psx emulator and i want to play my mMetal gear solid game but it seems kind of slow but if i play spyro it works perfectly any ideas?? the game is not scratched or anything

Reply: (edit)It's not the game or your comp its the actual emulator it does that on mine too... and im running an AMD 64 3200+ 2.2 you'll just have to wait and most of the time it's during the cinema's(in MGS) and junk other then that I can play other stuff like omega boost and what not fine!

Reply: (edit)Steam is free its kinda like a setup for online multiplayer games, gives u a list of servers and the like. It also does the copy protection for some of valve's newer games like HL2.
