So i got sims 2,the cd-rom version, i havent recieved it but i looked at the minimum requirements, i dont think my comp can play it, i need help on what i need to upgrade to...heres a list of whats in my comp:

At the very least, you need a new AGP video card. More RAM & a better CPU certainly wouldn't hurt either but it's probably not worth the investment.

ok thanx, but i really really love my comp, so far now i just want to buy the parts for it...one by one though...wat should i buy first?? and the graphics card...wat should i upgrade it to??

It's nice that you "love" your system, but it's quite outdated by today's standards. Invest as little money in it as possible.

Modern high performance AGP cards require a direct plug-in to the power supply & I highly doubt your 250W unit would be able to handle the extra load. Look for a card from the Radeon 9600 series...9600 (good), 9600Pro (better), 9600XT (best).

alright, now you said i needed a new cpu, how much do they usually run for? thats the only thing that i need to get, i have enough ram, and i bought the video card!
