Comment: Hi, i just got a copy of unreal tournament 2004. I installed the game, everything went fine. I load the game up, go to the multiplayer section, but i am not allowed to join servers as my version is outdated. Ok thats not the problem. I got the latest patch (v3339) and then i loaded the game up again. When i click the multiplayer option the game just frezes and i can only see the background image of the game... the only way to go back to desktop is to restart my computer. Help please? i just got the copy so its pretty annoying not to be able to play it :(. Also, i dont think this has to do with my system specs since i can play the demo without any problems at all. AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 1 Gb DDR ram ATI Radeon 9000 128 mb

Reply: (edit)You've got a reasonable CPU & plenty of RAM...unfortunately, the Radeon 9000 is a weak gaming card. Look how it rated in Unreal Tournamnet 2003: http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030714/vga_card_guide-13.html Asus A7N8X-X 1800+ @ 8.5 x 200MHz 768MB PC3200 Asus A9550 128MB/128-bit Gamer Edition WinME/WinXP Pro

Reply: (edit)I managed to play UT2004 on a Radeon 7500 64MB. It played like complete crap with improper lighting but it still worked. :)
