Whenever I exit Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo, I get a BSOD, something like IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I just reinstalled it and I have the latest drivers and DirectX. Help, anyone?

On your primary hard drive there is a file called "boot.ini". it is a "Protected operating system file" to view it you have to click Tools-Folder options, the click on the "View" tab, scroll down and change Do not show hidden files to show hidden files. Then uncheck do not show protected operating system files.

After you do this open up boot.ini with notepad.

It should look somthing like this.

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /NoExecute=OptIn /fastdetect

____________________________

Change the line /NoExecute=OptIn to /noexecute=AlwaysOff save and reboot.

Good luck
