what does it mean when i search for video cards with 1280x1024 0xAA, Trilinear compared to 1280x1024, 4xAA, 8xAF? Does it reflect on the computer and processor instead of the video card?
When gaming with lower end cards, it's usually necessary to set a lower screen resolution such as 800x600 or 1024x768 & to disable AA & AF to be able to get playable framerates.
Higher end cards are able to get playable framerates at higher screen resolutions with AA & AF enabled.
30FPS is generally considered the minimum framerate to be considered "playable". Lower than that & the game begins to look more like a slideshow.
