Do any of you have experience adding a dual monitor PCI card to an Intel Motherboard that has onboard "Extreme Graphics" video controller?
I found a couple of Dual-VGA PCI cards that have Direct-X 9.0 and 128MB RAM that I was considering for my Kids Gaming Computer.
Can I use both the onboard Intel controller with the PCI graphics or will I have to disable the onboard to use the dual VGA card?
Lets say I disable the onboard video and pop it an ATI-AGP card with dual monitor support in addition to the dual monitor PCI card. I've heard that the PCI would boot up as monitor #1 instead of the AGP card.
If so, would the second PCI video port be monitor #2 with the AGP as #3 and #4?
I want to use the PCI video for left & right cockpit windows and the analog AGP for front window. The digital out on the AGP will be for instrument display and radar.

No chance at all I'm afraid, it is impossible to utilise the power of two video cards in one machine, unless you happen to have the new Alienware technology (Video Array).
Some people are like Slinkies™, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

if you want to use dual monitor just add an LCD monitor... there you have CRT and LCD monitor :)
I also do not believe that Alienware is required for three or more monitors as I've seen non Alienware systems with 3 or more monitors using 2 or more dual head PCI Cards..
Summary: The 9250 is not a good card (& never was). It's weak & outdated, not to mention it's using the PCI bus. Stick with the onboard video or better yet, get a *real* card. The X1650Pro sells for less than ...

Summary: I'm finally upgrading my Ti4200 Video card. Curious to know.. I can pay 265.00 for an ATI 9800Pro with 256 ram or 280.00 for a Nvidia Gforce 6800 with 128 ram. Which is a better buy or better perfor...
