BFG is at it again with yet another crazy upgrade offer for owners of its AGP cards, as you can get a free upgrade to a brand new PCIe graphics card, as long as your AGP card is still in good working condition. We're not sure if there are any limitations to this, but we presume that as long as card works, you can get it upgraded.

The cards on the upgrade lists are somewhat limited, since you need to own a BFG 7600 GS OC, 6800 GS OC, 6800 GT OC, 6800 Ultra OC or a 7800 GS OC to qualify for the upgrade offer. With the exception of the 7600 GS OC, all the other cards can be traded in for a 9600 GT OC with 512MB of DDR3 memory, while those with the 7600 GS OC will have to make do with a 9500 GT OC with 1GB of DDR2 memory.

If the upgrade card doesn't excite you, then you can spend an additional US$50 and get a 9800 GT OC instead, or in the case of the 7600 GS OC, you'll get the 9600 GT OC. This seems like the better deal to us with regards to the higher-end cards, but we'd stick with the free offer on the 7600 GS OC.

You can find out all the details on how to upgrade your card here....
