Specs: Windows XP, 1.8ghz duel core processor with 2 gigs of ram
Ok here it goes...I bought a new computer last year built just for me its an spartan barebones from msi with 2 gigs of ram duelcore 1.8ghz prossesor and a nivida geforce 8600m graphics card it will play any new game on the market ive tried but im having an issue running an old game called gearhead garage from snapon it originally came out for windows 95 and ive tried runing in compadability modes and patches for it but its not running right the graphics them selfs are showing half transparent if at all or it comes up scratchy like a tv channel you dont get on an old tv ive done everything i can think of except run a virtualbox (for lack of wanting to screw up my comp by accident) if you have any ideas what so ever to help i would greatly apreciate it. its a fun game and would really like to play it again THANX

Have the game. Sometimes you just need to have a separate Windows 98SE machine to play those older games.

I had issues with gearhead garage and modern 3D cards. I had to run the game in software mode.

You can look into virtual PC, or other virtual machine software aswell.

PowerMac 9600(1 ghz G4)
512mb RAM
50gb SCSI
ATi 9200 PCI

Yeah i think i am going to have to instal 98 on my external and put it on there and although a virtual box would probly be more convent i spent $1700 for my lappy last year and im not fond on the idea of accidentally messing it up! but thanx
