Hi all, I recently upgraded my PC to a fairly good gaming computer and I have some issues with slow boot times and slow gameplay. While trying to play The Sims 2 just to test the system, FRAPS read out only about 12FPS. The CPU/GPU/PPU temps were all running nice and cool. All of the drivers are updated and installed. I'm running this on a Dell 22" 1680x1050 widescreen, Altec Lansing 5.1 audio, G15 keyboard, Razor 2000DPi mouse. I did find something strange in CPU-Z though, my CPU seems to be throttling itself. It runs stock at 2.66GHz I currently have it set at 3.1GHz, I put the clocks back to normal and CPU-Z still said that my CPU is running at a painfully slow 1100MHz. I've tried everything that I know.
