Hi there, I'm having a problem with my Sims 2 game, and I've installed it plenty of times before but not on my dad's laptop (which he said could support the game well, it's an HP) . Disc one loads perferctly and then when I am told to insert Disc 2 it doesn't read the disc, it begins to spin a bit and then it just stops, I've waited a while at times to see what happens and nothing happens, it always seems to stop after disc 1 has finished loading about 23% of the Sims 2. I installed it about 4 months ago on my mum's Dell Inspiron 1525 and worked okay except it didn't have the graphics needed to run the game to the best ability so I decided I'd install it on my dad's . (I'm writing this post from my mums laptop,) our old laptop ran the sims 2 incredibly well and never really had problems with it at all, and I'm just wondering what could be the issue ? I think It has to do with the computers as I tried to install another game (Black & White 2) on my dad's laptop and the same thing happened, disc 2 just wouldn't read. Can anyone help ? I would greatly appreciate it , thankyou
