The Sims 2 Double Deluxe won't run!!!

Please help me becuz my head is going to explode! When I put the Sims 2 Double Deluxe inside my computer it asks me to install. I did....3 TIMES!! It won't let me play the game at all. Please tell me what I need, what I have to do, and how much it cost to do it cuz im broke.

Check on the box for the minium requirments for the game. My guess is your computer is missing a few things such as the right video card, direct X etc...
