1: Yes I know wrong OS for this Laptop, I lost my original Harddrive and replaced it. My OS was misplaced and I used an older one that I had laying around from another PC I use to own before the ports where shot on it.

2: All my Drivers have been Installed and Updated.

3: DirectX Has been Installed, and Updated. I have checked a dozen times, and I am Fully updated on everything For my PC.

4: I have Re-Installed Sims 3 times, even went into registry files and cleared those and installed again.

I do not know what to do. This is driving me nuts, my friend sold me all his Sims (ALL of them!) for 70 bucks. This is a lot of money for me, and I wanted to spoil myself with a nice gift to myself. And I cant even use it, I am very irritated with this.

Please if you can Help...

Can you tell us the cause of losing your Hard drive? Did you misplace it or did it broken down? Also try to dowload the DirectX again then reinstall it.
