The graphics are buggy on my computer when I play games.

Specs: Windows Vista
I just got my computer out from being in storage for about a year. Everything seemed to be working fine but I obviously had a lot of drivers to update so I started doing that but when I tried to play an old game (Fallout New Vegas) which I had no trouble playing before, the graphics were very buggy and the game crashed. I tried another game (Fallout 3) but the same thing happened. I ran a full virus scan as well and it was all clear. I checked and I haven't updated the graphics card driver(s) because it was still up to date. When I try to update many of my drivers though an error screen pops up and tells me that there was a communication error and that the remote name could not be resolved: '' ... Any ideas? I have an ati radeon hd 2600 pro graphics card.

"Any ideas?"

Vista 64-bit:
