Subject: Sugestions for GeForce4?OS: Win98SECPU/Ram: 700Mhz Athlon/192mb PC133 |
Comment: I'm lightly upgrading my brother's PC to a GeForce4 and adding 256mb of PC133 RAM. What I'd like to know is what manufacturer you guys recommend(I'm thinking of XFX), and if I should shy away from cards with suffixes like "Ti" and "MX." Also, what the numbers mean after the title of the card, ex: GeForce4 MX 420. I just ask that you don't recommend any thing higher than a GeForce4. Also if "generic" RAM is risky to buy? Thanks. -Mitch My PC's busted. But I have good news: I just saved a bunch of money on car insurance by switching to Geico.
